Bishop Nevares has worked in ecumenical circles for many years and been wise counsel to Kerygma as we proclaim the Gospel. His motto of “Serve the Lord with gladness” is who he is.
Father Gavin Vaverick – Diocese of Tyler, TX

Rev. Gavin N. Vaverek is a canon lawyer and a priest of the Diocese of Tyler in Texas. Ordained in 1990, he has served all but 2 years as a Pastor. In addition he serves as Defender of the Bond, Presbyteral Council VP, and is heavily involved with promoting Missionary Discipleship and Faith Formation for all ages. His past service includes: Chancellor, Vocation Director, Respect Life Director, Leading the Ethics and Integrity program and serving as Victim Assistance Coordinator, Charismatic Renewal Coordinator, and innumerable committees. He has known Alan and Lori since 2009 and been an advisor to Kerygma for over 13 years.
Cathy Duffy – Westminster, CA

Cathy Duffy, Orange County, CA, has been a steadfast and trusted authority for homeschool families for four decades, diligently writing reviews of homeschool programs. We met Cathy when Lori was speaking at homeschool conventions in the 90’s.
20 years ago Cathy re-connected with her Catholic roots and is well versed in the Protestant and Catholic worlds. Cathy has authored several publications and books, with over ten years’ experience leading RCIA and the Alpha Course in her parish. Cathy brings valuable experience in striving to create unity among all believers while proclaiming the Gospel and forming new believers.
Wes Chapman – Youth With a Mission, Tyler, TX

Wes Chapman has served as an ecumenical missionary for 24 years, dedicated to helping young people encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. He has led discipleship camps for teenagers from both Catholic and Protestant traditions across the United States and in 19 countries. We met Wes during his years as a fellow missionary in Youth With a Mission. He has a passion for the Gospel and is a wonderful, energetic teacher, especially to young people. Wes was the most popular speaker at our numerous weekend teen retreats where Kerygma collaborated with YWAM Tyler in the 2010’s.
As a board of Kerygma, Wes champions efforts to invite others to follow Jesus and discover their vocation.
Stormie Niehaus – Cincinnati Ohio

Stormie is another strong passionate woman like Lori Harris, both with a YWAM background and belief system. Stormie spent many years with her husband Mike in various YWAM ministries including Kerygma. They have since continued to be a supporters of the Youth With a Mission vision. Stormie has the gift of hospitality and has been a great input to us in feeding the masses. Stormie loves to supply a scripture as the answer to a particular concern and is quick to provide it.
